OUR Team
Pete Scully
president
Pete Scully has always been analytical, learning as much as he can from his own experience - as well as the experience of others - to be the best at what he does. He remembers his early time working at BMW of North America, where the chairman made managers read and respond to customer reviews, positive and negative. He found huge importance in understanding when things went right and when things went wrong, allowing both instances to influence future successes.
Pete graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor’s Degree in History and International Politics, and a minor in Economics. After a stint with Price Waterhouse he left corporate finance to join a start-up bank services company in 1994, and began working with community banks and small businesses. His wealth of knowledge in the financial services world has been incredibly valuable in his career. Clients have commented that “you’re always looking for a better solution.” He takes pride in using his wins and failures to help others succeed.
Pete leads by example as evidenced in his performance at Private Business, Inc., a company that went public on NASDAQ. Pete established the paradigm for the company's sales model and became it's top performer, but also served as CEO of its two largest subsidiaries.
Pete believes his 18-year-old self would be most impressed that he built a profitable company from the ground up, and was eventually able to sell it. He attributes this success to his analytical, understanding, and compassionate mindset.
Outside of working, Pete enjoys reading, traveling, fishing, writing screenplays, and enjoying virtually any kind of movie. He has been a member of the Writer's Boot Camp since 2006. He and his wife Judy Ann have two grown children: Emily (married to Stephen) and Ryan (married to Katherine).

John Antolik
Managing Partner and CEO
In his 15+ years in private investments, John Antolik has learned not to be too patient. He believes in quick responses and attention to detail when it comes to business interactions. This comes from his empathy and his intentionality in understanding things from others’ perspectives.
After receiving an MBA from the University of Dayton, as well as a Bachelor's Degree from Bowling Green State University in Accounting, John has spent his career both investing and working with investors. He has led strategic partnerships and worked alongside hundreds of financial institutions, giving him insight into the market at its highest level. This experience has also brought plenty of opportunities for networking and developing relationships with leaders and investors alike.
John recalls a specific time when he needed to get approval from multiple leaders in a company regarding an investment decision. What began as a difficult task - due to conflicting schedules and responsibilities - was simplified when John created a document with the leaders’ names and titles on it. After presenting the information to each individual and answering any lingering questions, he had each leader sign the document to acknowledge their approval. Once he had all the signatures, he was able to present the document to the company and secure a large investment into alternative investments - one of his biggest successes to date.
Experiences like this are what lead coworkers and clients to describe John as intelligent, well-connected, and having consistent integrity in following through on his word.
When John isn’t working, he and his wife Lara enjoy good food, cheering on the Cleveland Browns, spending time outdoors on the mountains or the beach, and traveling to places like Italy, the Galapagos, and South Africa. They have a loyal dog Myles, and three grown children: Paige, Jenna, and Thomas.
